hell of a game, this should have way more attention. bullshit that it doesn't.

as a fellow artist: i am so sorry. it had me twitching a lot near the end and that makes me damn sad for you. i never really say things like this to strangers so im sorry if it seems like pity, i really do mean it as compassion. you made a beautiful thing. i literally snapped away from the screen when she started eating the dagger. that was wonderfully visceral. and the first slap, and then the next, man. that really changed it all. and i loved the grandpa's design, and how you couldn't go to the mirror with the mask off. so so deep and so so wonderful.

I eventually got around to this game and this one feels much more personal and intimate than the other two so far. I really want to praise how the sound is used here as it really adds to the atmosphere; creating that sense of isolation and privateness this game needed. The design of Shaiye is also quite cool and fascinating that it seems to be based off of a lamp at the end there, hehe. The way in which you incorporated the metaphor of being trans, searching for one's identity *and* merged it with Gecira being treated as a replacement for Rose was interesting too,
